Silver Medal Winner 2024
At the 2024 TMAC Awards in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Roland took home silver in the “Four Images Telling a Story” category. His captivating puffin images and a fitting title delivered an exceptional narrative that stood out.
Roland Bast takes great pride in receiving the Instagram “Photography Account of the Year” award. He earned this recognition through the support and votes of the people of Ottawa. It reflects his unwavering dedication and commitment, which is clear in every photograph he captures.
Roland assisted over 40 restaurants and small businesses. He provided free images and social media support. Additionally, he offered advertising on his platform.
During the peak of the 2019 pandemic, he used his photography skills. He also used his platform to showcase the resilience of Ottawa’s long-standing local businesses.
